Universe is a new club by the creators of Republiq. Embassy, Prive, Opus and 71 Gramercy and is located at the location that formerly housed Opus. The official name of the club is Universe Gastrolounge & Nightclub. It has a lounge and restaurant in the front and the club in the back.
The door charge is PHP500 inclusive of these only 2 premium drinks (Johnny Walker+Soda, Smirnoff+Soda, & Captain Morgan+Soda)
The club is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The lounge/restaurant will operate Monday-Sunday.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2014: REPUBLIQ IS NOW CLOSED (and will not re-open). They have launched a club called Universe next door (at the old Opus location).
The Cabana Club at Republiq is a brand new VIP clubbing room at Republiq Club in Resorts World Manila. It is a separate VIP-only club inside of Republiq Club with it’s own DJ booth and 2 bars.
Republiq Cabana Club has 2 floors and 8 private VIP rooms in various sizes. Each VIP room has it’s own restroom and can be closed with curtains for ultimate privacy. On the dance floor there are several cocktail tables with the setting of a waterfall on the back wall.
The club has it’s own bars and DJ booth, but it also has direct access to Republiq’s main room.
The official Cabana Club launch party is on Thursday February 7 and starts at 9pm

Last year was a great year for the Manila club scene. A lot of exciting new bars and clubs opened (Prive, Draft, Bond, Time) and there were lots of great events. We hope 2012 will top this. We already know that some great DJs and acts will come to Manila in the coming few months (such as Calvin Harris, Afrojack, New Boyz, Thrillseekers, Eric D-Lux, Tall Sasha, RedFoo (LMFAO), Erick Morillo, and R3hab in Republiq, Luke Fair and Jimmy van M in Time and Dash Berlin at Big Fish).
Also this year a new club/lounge is expected to open at Resorts World, Manila will get it’s first Ice Bar, 2 more Draft branches will open (at Greeenbelt and Resorts World) and we’ll probably see some more new hotspots rising this year.
Let’s see what the rest of 2012 will bring us, we are sure this will be an other exiting year!

IMPORTANT UPDATE. AVICII HAS BEEN MOVED TO WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 14.
After already announcing Roger Sanchez and Kaskade earlier this year, Republiq now added Avicii to their killer DJ line-up for December 2011. Swedish super star DJ and producer Avicii, who was recently voted 6th best DJ in the world in this year’s DJ Mag top 100, will play live at Republiq on December 13 2011.
Avicii is well known for his chart-topping dance hits like Bromance (which he released under his name Tim Berg), Levels and Fade into Darkness.
Avicii is a great addition to Republiq’s December line-up, which also includes Roger Sanchez on December 8 and Kaskade on December 15.
Tickets can be purchased at Cafe Republiq starting November 4. Pre-sale price is PHP 1500, door price will be PHP 2500.
Limited Combi tickets for Roger Sanchez + Avicii + Kaskade can be purchased for PHP 3000 (save PHP 2000!)
On Tuesday October 25 the official Black Eyed Peas Manila concert after party will be held at Republiq club. The party starts at 10pm.
Aferparty tickets can be bought at Cafe Republiq. For ₱1,500 you can buy a ticket that includes a Bronze ticket for the actual concert. If you already have a concert ticket you just pay ₱1,000 for the after-party ticket.
A lot is happening and changing the coming months in the Manila clubbing scene. On June 3 there will be the Members Only Closing Party after which Members Only will close for renovation, to be re-opened later this year as Prive. In this same week a new bar/lounge/gastropub will be opened called Draft (at The Fort Strip in the place that was formally Cuisine/Suite ). This will be the second place in the Philippines that will provide imported draft beers (the first one is Distillery). On June 23 Republiq, still the hottest club in Manila, is having it’s first year anniversary party. In July Encore (formally Embassy) will close it’s doors for a big renovation.

The club is best described as a Las Vegas style nightclub. Republiq often hosts special events with big international EDM DJs.

Republiq Dress Code & Door Policy
Republiq enforces a fairly strict dress-code.
For men: Strictly no slippers/sandals/crocs, no round/vneck shirts, no caps, no shorts. Recommended: dress shoes, (polo) shirts, jacket/coat. If you wear a t-shirt you must have a coat/jacket.
Ladies: No slippers/crocs/sandals. Flat sandals need at least straps at the back.
The following are absolutely not allowed in any case:
– Baggy, loose-fitting or sloppy clothing

– Ball caps, bandanas &/or similar
