Not a lot has been happening in the past 6 months in The Establishment. Now that both Encore/Embassy and Members Only are closed, we guess they thought it would be a good idea for an official re-launch. They call it “The Renaissance of The Establishment” and it’s happening on Friday August 5 2011 (see flyer below).
Starting August 5 The Establishment will have 4 weekly club-nights:
Wednesdays: Retro Rockin’ Wednesday with the Bloomfields (live band playing classic pop/rock)
Thursdays: Grind with DJs Toy Armada and Brian Cua
Fridays: Friday Fiasco with DJs Funky Avi and Travis Monsod and DJs Kat & Lexi
Saturdays: Mode Prive Saturday with DJs Alex Pain and JC Sandejas & Opening DJs Carlo, Nampu and Pat Po.
The Establishment will also feature hot Model bartenders Alexandra Santos and Janelle Olafson.
I have seen some of the promotors calling The Establishment “Opus of The Fort”, although we don’t agree with that, it’s definitely a really nice lounge/club and I hope the re-launch will be a big success and that The Establishment will become another exclusive hot spot in Manila nightlife.
The Establishment Manila is located at The Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City (The Fort).
Time in Manila is one of the only clubs in the Metro that focuses mainly on (underground) house and dance music. This club is different than most of the other superclubs and has a great underground vibe created by a combination of the interior, the crowed and the DJs that have a passion for house music. At Time you can expect to hear various EDM styles such as techno, tech-house, deep-house, electro, trance, etc.
Club Time regularly invites some of the top international house and techno DJs. Some DJs that have played at Time are Nick Warren, Darren Emerson, Yousef, Secret Cinema, Rosie Romero, John 00 Flemming, Jazzanova and Nelski.
Time has 3 floors. On the first floor is the main DJ booth, the dancefloor and a bar. The second floor consists of a balcony (build around the first floor) and a lounge area with bar. The top floor is an outdoor roof terrace which has it’s own bar and DJ booth. A great place to relax and have a cocktail while listening to some nice beats.

Monday: Monday Fever at the Roof-Deck
Tuesday: Strike at Time (Jessica Milner and DJ Cammy)
Wednesday: Femme at Time (house, techno and electro beats hosted by Androgyny Productions)
Friday: Dance at Time (techno and tech-house)
Saturday: After Dark at Time (clubnights by Curv, Diversion, Frequency and Deeper rythms on rotation)

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2014: REPUBLIQ IS NOW CLOSED (and will not re-open). They have launched a club called Universe next door (at the old Opus location).
Republiq is located in Resorts World Manila (RWM). The club is one of the biggest and most popular nightclubs in Manila. Republiq is open 3 times a week, on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The club is best described as a Las Vegas style nightclub. Republiq often hosts special events with big international EDM DJs.

On Fridays the club is usually packed. The DJs play a mix of popular (and some classic) HipHop, Top40 (Charts), Dance, Mashup. It’s a great party atmosphere. The music is always top notch and the crowd goes all out!

Saturday night in Republiq is reserved for EDM only. There are a couple of resident DJs and often the club invites popular house DJs to come and play at Pure.

Republiq Dress Code & Door Policy
Republiq enforces a fairly strict dress-code.
For men: Strictly no slippers/sandals/crocs, no round/vneck shirts, no caps, no shorts. Recommended: dress shoes, (polo) shirts, jacket/coat. If you wear a t-shirt you must have a coat/jacket.
Ladies: No slippers/crocs/sandals. Flat sandals need at least straps at the back.
The following are absolutely not allowed in any case:
– Baggy, loose-fitting or sloppy clothing
– Athletic wear & sports jerseys
– Ball caps, bandanas &/or similar
– T-shirts, sleeveless shirts & tanktops (for men)
