Republiq Club door policy, age limit and dresscode.

Republiq has a strict door policy. If you don’t follow the dress-code or are to young, you won’t get in, no matter how much you spend or book a table. Always dress up nicely and make sure to bring a valid ID, no matter how old you are. If you fail to comply with the dresscode or age limit you will simply not get in.

Age limit

You have to be at least 18 years old to be admitted to Republiq and this rule is strictly followed. If you are not 18 you won’t get it. If you don’t bring an ID they will not let you in! Always bring a valid ID, even if you are on the guestlist or have booked a table.

Dress Code

Republiq has a strict dress code.  Males have to wear a collar! Always dress up nicely (dress to impress). Girls can dress up sexy or stylish and guys should wear a shirt, jacket or polo shirt (it needs to have a collar or you won’t get in). Jeans & sneakers will be allowed upon our discretion.

General dresscode guidlines:
Gentlemen: No slippers/sandals/crocs, no round/vneck shirts, no caps, no shorts. Recommended: dress shoes, (polo) shirts, jacket/coat. If they’ll wear a shirt, must have a coat/jacket.
Ladies: No slippers/crocs/sandals. Flat sandals, need at least straps at the back.

The following are absolutely not allowed in any case:
- Baggy, loose-fitting or sloppy clothing
- Athletic wear & sports jerseys
- Ball caps, bandanas &/or similar
- T-shirts, sleeveless shirts & tanktops (for en)
- Shorts & cropped pants (for men)
- Slippers (For men & women)
- Sandals & open shoes (For men)

Door policy

The door policy is strict. If you have any problem with the dresscode or forgot your ID remember to NEVER argue with the bouncers. This is the worst you can do. Try to find a solution (borrow something from a friend, buy something at Lacoste downstairs or go home and change). There is no point in arguing with the door crew. Once they denied you they will not change their mind, no matter what you try. If you start arguing you most likely won’t get in even if you do get your ID or change to proper clothes, so the best is to just leave and get your ID or change to proper clothes.

Obviously no illegal substances and weapons are allowed and no violent behavior is tolerated.

Door lines

At certain times it can get very busy at the entrance which sometimes results in big lines. Always be patient, you will get in, but remember that VIPs, regulars and paying customers always go before people that are on the guestlist, so sometimes you might have to wait long. Don’t get angry or let it spoil your night. It’s worth the wait!

  7. Andre says:

How much money is required get on the VIP list? Can someone get on by status alone?

    • admin says:

There is a free guestlist. See the guestlist page for more information on how to get on the guest list. For VIP access you have to book a table, the tables start at 6K and it’s fully consumable.

  8. Joanna says:

You should proof read your web page and fix wrong spellings and grammar… It ruins the club’s so-called high class credebility.

  9. Mary Ann says:

quick question..I am palnning on going to this club around 27july..Is it possible for me and my bf to get in or do we have to call and reserve..We are currrently out of the country.

    • admin says:

You can just pay for entrance or try to get on the guestlist if you don’t want to pay. If you go on Friday make sure you get there early, it is usually packed.

  10. Nicka says:

Is there any special occasion coming up for the month of July?

    • admin says:

There is the 1yr anniversary party, but it’s invite only. Maybe there is an after party for the Miley Cyrus concert on July 17.

  11. nix says:

Do you have a contact number where I can reserve/inquire?
If I reserve a table for Soiree @ Republiq is this consumable?
What if I followed the 3:1 ratio but on the day itself someone unexpectedly backed up?
Are they really strict on this?

    Thanks

  12. admin says:

Check this page for all table booking info.

For Soiree, make sure you book your table at least a month in advance! All table amounts are fully consumable.

For guestlist, as long as you are more girls than guys it should be fine.

  13. camille bagasan says:

    student permit, is it allowed/valid?

  14. alvin beng says:

    Hi,
What are the cost to reserve a table? are there any entrance fees?
    thanks,
    Alvin

  15. melboy says:

So am I assuming correctly when I say that Soiree on Friday’s is the biggest night at Republiq?

    • admin says:

Yes, although Wednesday is very good as well :) It’s like Vegas and Miami style clubbing, but if you’re not into top40/hip-hop/mashup you might like Saturdays better. Saturday they play House music only.

  16. elaine cassandra marquez says:

What about our friends in the 3rd sex if they happen to be crossdressers, would you allow them as long as they follow the dress code policy? To better explain it, A: Would you allow a male gay wearing a dress but of course stylish B: Would you allow a female gay(lesbian) to wear the guys clothes in accordance of course with the male dress code. looking forward for your quick response and hope you uphold equality in your premises . Thank you

    • admin says:

Honestly I don’t know the policy in regards to that. I recommend contacting the club directly. We are not the official website, we are just trying to provide as much information as possible, but unfortunately I don’t have an answer to your question.

  17. Crystal says:

I’m unclear if guys are supposed to wear a jacket at all times, or just with a (T?)shirt. Example, if a guy wears a polo shirt and nice jeans (with leather shoes of course), is that okay, or when is a jacket required? Referring to “If they’ll wear a shirt, must have a coat/jacket.”. Thanks!

    • admin says:

Jacket/blazer with shirt, or jacket with t-shirt is fine. Or just a shirt or polo. As long as it has a colar.
Once you are in, you are in, so if you wear a jacket/blazer with a t-shirt and take of the jacket/blazer once inside it’s fine.

  18. curious says:

Are the bouncers strict with regards to international IDs? Do I have to bring a passport or would my driver’s license be fine?

  19. Yoon Ji Kim says:

how can I avail for guestlist? I want to see the place I’m planning to go there alone before I invite my friends

  20. Life Rueda says:

Pure house music only every Saturdays? No hiphop or rnb?

    • admin says:

Yes Republiq has only house music on Saturdays. Kyss has hiphop on Saturdays. Palladium has a mix of house and hiphop.

      • Frank says:

Does the club open on weekdays?, if so. Is it normaly busy and do we need to arrange special booking VIP? there will be 7 people from International.

        • admin says:

Republiq is open on Wednesdays and it’s quite a popular night, so I do advice booking a table a few weeks in advance.

  21. Karlo says:

are cameras allowed inside? even if it is a cellphone camera?

    • admin says:

Yes, all cameras are allowed except professional cameras. Cellphone cam and normal digi cam are allowed. For professional camera you need to get permission first.

  22. ed says:

i thought age limit in Rep. is 21?

  23. Rose says:

When do I have to email so that I can be included in the guest list? If I want to go on a Wednesday, how many days before do I have to email?

  24. isaac flordeleza says:

ask ko lng, i won a raffle and the price was a card(color black) from republiq. is it a complementary card?
if i use it, does it consider as may entrance pass? do i need to pay an entrance fee even i have this card?

    • admin says:

I am not 100% sure, you’d have to ask the club directly, but I think it’s just for priority (vip line) access.I don’t think it will get you free entrance so you probably still have to pay the necessary entrance fees to the club. You still have to comply with the age limit and dress code to get in as well.

  25. Lea says:

Yo yo hello :) I am coming back to the philippines for the first time that I am old enough to go clubbing (legally ;-) ) … we have a Wed free and I was thinking of booking a table… how big are these tables? Are we going to look like nigel-no friends or are others allowed to join the table? Do you have an average price for drinks? Locals and imports? Do they bring drinks to the table?
Soz for the all the Q’s. TIA

    • admin says:

It depends on which table you get, but they are not super big. Like with a platinum you can bring 15 people, but there is place for like 8 to sit. But there is plenty of space around the table for extra people. The gold tables would fit like 6 people (sitting). For gold, silver and bronze it’s easy to have extra people join your table. For Platinum this is not possible, because there is a bouncer that checks for platinum stamps, so your guests have to get a platinum stamp first at the door. Every table comes with a waiter (or multiple waiters) that will take care of your drinks. They will bring the drinks to your table.

  26. ralph says:

can men wear sneakers? im more comfy with my plain sneaks…

  27. henry says:

  29. Mila says:

Hi… Are your Saturdays as packed as Friday nights?

  30. xxx says:

where can we find pictures from last friday’s halloween ball?

  31. Tim says:

Pwd ba akong magsuot ng jordan???
Or those nike / adidas rubbershoes? Yung parang pang sport, kasi pinapangalis ko din yun eh. Or I really have to wear thos nike / adidas sneaker styles?

    -salamat!

    • admin says:

‘dress’ sneakers are fine, the stylish ones, but I think if you wear like real basketball sneakers they might complain about it.

  32. Tonee says:

Hi..couple of things..we are travelers from the UK..is there a safe deposits in the club for leaving valuables such as passports if we do not have id’s with our date of birth?

    • admin says:

If you are white and don’t look young the usually won’t ask for ID. But just in case you could make a photo copy of your passport and bring that. I don’t recommend brining the actual passport.

      • Ano says:

Just to clarify here, ID is extremely important, and next time I’m bringing my passport.

I had to bribe the doorman 1000 to get in on a Saturday because I didn’t have an ID.

Of course they don’t believe that your underage, alone, halfway across the world to sneak into a nightclub. They are just like most people in this region of the world, they’re just after your cash.

And this dress code you’ve written up is nothing like the clientele inside, saw a whole lot of t-shirts and long sleeves without collars. But of course wearing a collar certainly reduces the risk of parting with those blue bills if you’re a foreigner.

This might seem as a rant, but this place really is one of the best clubs in the orient.

  33. First timer says:

Hi! I’ve heard that the intrance fee is consumable for 2 bottles of drink. What if I am included under the guest list, Am I still able to get free drinks or do I have to pay extra? How much would it be per bottle(same drinks you provide for those who paid for intrance fee)?

  34. ka says:

i want to go this coming saturday with someone I like… He actually invited me but it’s his first time in the Philippines.. and I’m not the “clubbing person” as well so I don’t have any idea how does it work.. my QUESTIONS(lol. I sound so stupid. hahaha) are:
    1. when you became a guestlist, what’s gonna happen next? I mean what line are you referring to?How will I know if that’s a line for guestlists??? @@
    2. How can we get chairs? Can you just grab one or you can just sit anywhere that’s vacant?
    3. Can he present passport?

thank you. Sorry i’m so stupid. hahahha

  35. ka says:

another question! hahhahahah.. if we’re on guestlists, how much money do we need in hand? is 1k enough for 1 person?
    thanks

  36. pontta says:

Is New Era’s Hip hop caps allowed?

  37. Mitz says:

    Can I wear pants?

  38. meygan says:

An OJT ID plus birth certificate. Is this allowed/valid? :)

  39. Barbie says:

Hi! I wanna ask, I’m already 18 and I’m scared that I might look a bit too young. I have my college ID with me and I might bring a copy of my birth certificate or passport. Would that be okay? Thank you so much! :)

    • admin says:

Yes any photo ID wich has a date of birth should be okay. A photo copy of your passport or birth certificate is a good idea to bring as well.

  40. Mischa says:

My school ID doesnt indicate date of birth but my health card has my age. Would that be okay?

  41. VITTORIO says:

where can i find the picture they took me into club last night ??

  42. vanessa says:

    I’m from Canada,
will be going to the Philippines this summer for a vacation. Any type of ID would be fine as long as I have my d.o.b on it right? Though the only factor I dislike about this club is having a dress code. I mean, as long as you look good, I don’t find it a problem. The dress code is far too picky. Everyone has their own sense of style for clubbing.

    • admin says:

Yes any ID with DOB should be fine. The most important is that you dress stylish and don’t wear slippers and guys always need a collar. They are the most strict with that.

  43. vanessa says:

oh & by the way, for the girls dress code, flats aren’t allowed? Can girls also wear some nice jeans along with a top of some sort with heels at least?
